5

  • Please contact Chelsea or Victoria at farleysfitkitchen@gmail.com We want you to have the best experience and want your feedback on things we can continue to improve on.

6

Do you cater to certain diets?

  • We do not cater to any particular diet. We hope to serve delicious healthy food to the common person. However, a lot of our meals fit into a “keto friendly” diet or can be modified to do so. We also can cater to a vegetarian and vegan diet as well. If you have a certain need or request, please reach out and ask. If we can do it, we will!

7

How does it work?

  • Decide how many and what meals you want to replace (See FAQ #11). Look through our menu to see what appeals to you. Place your order online and note any allergies, modifications, or substitutions (See FAQ #13). Choose pick-up or delivery and then wait for the meals to be ready (See FAQ #’s 1&2)

8

What is meal prep?

Meal prepping is the process of preparing meals ahead of time in hopes of saving time and to help make healthier choices. Since it is planning ahead it can help with portion control and other nutrition goals. Skip the frozen dinners and let us supply you with freshly made meals.

9

How long are the meals good for?

In general, our meals are good for 5-6 days after delivery. Salads have a shorter shelf life, however. The meal containers will contain a “best by” date. To assure freshness we recommend storing at 40 degrees Fahrenheit immediately after delivery and until you are ready to heat it for consumption.

10

Can you freeze the meals?

We do not recommend freezing the meals as it can affect the quality of the food. We have had some customers report that they’ve had success doing so, but we cannot guarantee the quality. If you do choose to freeze we recommend not freezing food with any high water quantity foods (cauliflower, cucumbers, zoodles, etc.) We also recommend placing the entire meal container in a gallon Ziploc bag before putting it into the freezer. Give the meal a full 8 hours to thaw out in your refrigerator. Then heat as container suggests.

11

How much should I order?

  • We suggest that you decide how many meals you intend on replacing in a 5-day period. For instance, it you’re replacing lunch & breakfast then chose five meals, plus a few of items from the ‘breakfast’ section of the menu. If you want, you replace lunch & dinner then go for 8-10 meals. Keep in mind your upcoming events; are you going to a dinner party, luncheon at work?  It’s easier to plan ahead with these questions in mind to avoid waste.

12

How big are the meals?

  • All of the salads  contain 4 oz of protein and entrees contain 4-5 oz of protein with the amount of veggies varying. We have created meals designed to fill you up & firmly believe that eating healthy does not mean eating less!

13

Can I add or substitute sides?

  •  Absolutely! We encourage you to get creative and create an experience you will thoroughly enjoy. If you don’t like broccoli, no problem – let us substitute it for grilled asparagus, spinach, or cauliflower, etc.

14

What does the P, C, & F mean on my container?

  • These are your Macros. P stands for grams of Protein. C stands for grams of carbohydrates. F stands for grams of Fat. We also display the calorie and fiber content. This information is great if you are counting calories or monitoring your protein or carbohydrate intake.

15

What about the GF, DF, K and V on the menu?

  • DF - Dairy Free

  • V - Vegan

  • VEG - Vegetarian

  • GF - Gluten Free

  • K - Keto

16

How do I heat the meals?

  • Our containers are microwave safe and BPA free. Leave the lid of the container on when microwaving to help create even heating throughout. The cooking time is suggested on each container, but this may vary depending on your microwave’s wattage.
